Webheath Gardening Project

Gardening & Greening
Organised by:
Kilburn

Working alongside the Tenants & Residents Association, we have been developing the Community Garden space!

Residents have access to a Community Garden that needed lots of work to get it to a nice space to sit and meet.

The volunteers have been supported with new tools, some that are made specifically for people who have mobility issues or find holding hand tool a little difficult.

We held a Golden Gnome Competition, encouraging residents to design a recycled plant pot and grow something of their choice!

The lucky winner was very pleased to meet her new friend..

We are really looking forward to watching the garden grow..

"Fantastic scheme donation of gardening supplies, gloves for all especially little hands, hand tools & extending handles for older people. The Golden Gnome was awarded on Webheath making pots & growing vegetables/herbs"
